SYNOPSIS
Military lieutenant Duke Halliday goes to Mexico in pursuit of a conman who has stolen an army payroll, but is pursued in turn by his superior officer, who suspects he is responsible for the crime. Duke finds an ally in the hustler's vengeful abandoned wife, but neither is certain they can trust the other. Thriller, starring Robert Mitchum and Jane Greer.
