SYNOPSIS

Elisa Lennox jedna je od 10 milijuna Amerikanki koje boluju od anoreksije. Odmah po završetku gimnazije, pridružuje se velikoj baletnoj družini i počinje vjerovati kako balerine moraju biti osobito vitke. Njezina se opsjednutost s vremenom povećava, a ona počinje živjeti na rubu izgladnjelosti od brojnih dijeta i svaki zalogaj kažnjava pretjeranom tjelovježbom. Dok anoreksija nagriza njezino zdravlje i veze, trpi i vještina plesa zbog kojeg se žrtvuje. Elisa ipak ne prestaje sve dok joj život ne bude visio o koncu i bude hospitalizirana.
