SYNOPSIS

Svako od brojnih srednjoeuropskih jezera jedinstveno je na svoj način. Ali Balaton kao najveće kopneno i najvažnije stepsko jezero ipak je osobito. Njegova voda, obala i zaleđe pružaju bezbroj malih prirodnih oaza mameći mnoge životinje koje se tim nišama znaju služiti za različite posebne potrebe. Tijekom godišnjih doba redatelj i snimatelj Szabolcs Mosonyi kamerom bilježi velike i male drame koje inače ostaju skrivene u jezerskim dubinama i šikari trske: male bijele čaplje pri othranjivanju ptića, bjelouške u potrazi za partnerom i pristale mužjake smuđa koji sumnjičavo čuvaju svoje gnijezdo.
