SYNOPSIS

1952: Law school graduate Kevin Walker (Matt Dillon) is recruited by the FBI and instructed to root out communist public enemies amongst the San Francisco Chinese community. Soon his loyalties become divided when he falls in love with Marilyn (Joan Chen), a laundryman's daughter.
