Ray Lewis made the leap from childhood poverty to millionaire thanks to his incredible skill and athleticism on the football field, leading the Baltimore Ravens to unprecedented success. But when he and a pair of friends are alleged to have been involved in a violent brawl following a Super Bowl party that leaves two men dead, Lewis is charged with homicide. Though he’s eventually cleared of the charge, the stigma of the trial casts a long shadow over his play on the field, requiring some championship level damage control to repair his reputation.
