Real estate company president Hiyama is murdered while holding a pair of scissors. The crime scene is very similar to that of an unsolved case from 17 years ago. Conan and Okiya believe former candy shop owner Senba who discovered the body is the culprit, but are unable to determine how he brought the weapon inside the annex where the crime took place.
