Before becoming the mythical character we know, Billy the Kid was simply William H. Bonney. The son of a poor Irish immigrant family who arrives in the American Midwest in search of a better life, only to find rejection from a country divided by conflict, chaos and violence. In this context, young Billy must learn to survive while he surrounds himself with allies and makes numerous enemies, sometimes crossing the line between what was fair and what was legal.
