Greenhorn Andrew begins his final trial week on the Valdimar, and Captain Frosti decides if Andrew will return in January. Deckhand Caitlin faces a week at sea with the crew one man down, but Caitlin's efforts cause her painful tendonitis to return and threatens her ability to continue. Iceland's strict quota system forces Benni to rethink his fishing plan when he catches too much haddock, and as Christmas approaches competition between the two boats increases.
