SYNOPSIS

Edouard Perrolles, moćni poslovni čovjek i vlasnik Château Camps de Grezea, jednog od najboljih vinograda u Cahorsu, zapošljava Benjamina da nadgleda fermentaciju zadnje berbe. Pregledom bačve broj 13 koja ima sumnjiv miris otkrivaju nezamislivo: na dnu bačve leži truplo. Inspektor Driss Medraoui je zbunjen ovim gnusnim i neobjašnjivim zločinom. Cijeli Quercy je u šoku.
Nedaleko odatle živi André Chiche, drugi gospodar toga kraja koji je nedavno kupio Château Hébrard. Njegove aktivnosti zanimaju Benjamina. Što se krije u prljavoj igri? Nasljednici koje muči kriza identiteta, okaljani ugled i čast izvrgnuta ruglu? Ništa ne može utažiti želju za moći novih gospodara Cahorsa. Ali bačva broj 13 ipak će otkriti svoju tajnu jer Benjamin zna jezik staroga kamenja i drvenih bačvi, čak i kad služe kao lijesovi...
