SYNOPSIS

At Katherine's presumed death bed, she and Damon reveal to the brothers and their gang the great part she played in tragically steering their families' lives, and how it all started with her Bulgarian father's unwillingness to allow her cursed offspring to live in 1490. Klaus is back with a surprisingly generous offer for Caroline and Tyler. Alaric and other slain vampires all appear. Katherine refuses Nadia's plan to save her with Traveler magic, but when death comes steals Elena's body.
