SYNOPSIS

The team assesses how the new michaelmas daisy collection has fared over the summer. Carole Baxter also sees whether her aubergines and peppers have managed to bear any fruit this season and Jim McColl visits Heathryfold Allotments in Aberdeen, whose multicultural plotters grow a range of vegetables and fruit from their homelands. There is also another report from Bute, where Jim and Carole attend the horticultural society's summer flower show.
