SYNOPSIS

The unmaintained Udit Lake road claims a casualty when a Polar Industries truck jack-knifes across it, blocking the way for everyone and prompting boss Mark Kohaykewych to send out Darrell Ward to see if he can clear the way. In northwest Manitoba, Joey Barnes prepares to lead a convoy carrying building materials to Lac Brochet on the very furthest reaches of the winter roads, while VP Express driver Todd Dewey takes an excavator on a 600-mile trip to Wasagamack First Nation.
