SEASON: 37
SYNOPSIS
Fiona Bruce and the team return to Belton House in Lincolnshire. Items include a ceramic model of London Zoo's first elephant from the late 19th century, an engraved glass vase won at a fair in the 1920s, a collection of memorabilia relating to the Duke of Windsor and a children's chair in the shape of a starfish. There's also an interview with Professor Timon Screech about Britain's centuries of trade with Japan, accompanied by an ornate lacquer chest that may have arrived with the first shipment of Japanese treasures in 1614.
