SYNOPSIS

The withdrawal of a library book on the day of his death is the only clue to a student's murder. Two people who can be linked to the book give each other an alibi, and the police have their work cut out to identify who is lying. The killer eventually confesses and claims self-defence, forcing Phillips to face up to past demons, while Steel finds himself not only prosecuting the offender but also defending the victim. Freema Agyeman and Ben Daniels star.
