Roquefort je najpopularniji sir s plemenitom plavom plijesni u Francuskoj, a njegova fascinantna povijest seže do vremena starih Rimljana. Osnovni sastojak svih takvih sireva je posebna plava plijesan koja se uzgaja u glasovitim pećinama ispod visoravni Cambalou u oblasti Roquefort.
