Midsomer Murders: Tainted Fruit

SYNOPSIS

In the affluent village of Midsomer Malham, pariah Melissa Townsend is found murdered by an injection of barbiturates. Miss Townsend had angered many and had received death threats after being blamed for the death of a local tenant. Both Barnaby and Troy will soon discover that the barbiturates had been stolen in a burglary, at the local vet's surgery. With attempted blackmail, greed, jealousy, and secrets in the mix, the detectives have to set out to catch the killer, not long after one man is killed with barbiturates on a tennis court and another person dies in what appears to be a freak accident.
