SYNOPSIS

The first episode of the whimsical rural drama based on HE Bates' novels. Tax collector Cedric Charlton visits the Larkin household intent on getting the head of the family - Pop - to correctly fill out his tax forms. In so doing he falls for attractive daughter Mariette. Starring David Jason, Pam Ferris and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
