SYNOPSIS

A new schoolmaster named Mr Delafield arrives in Candleford, becoming popular in Lark Rise by providing evening classes for older boys and reviving an old local tradition. However, the teacher's arrival presents Sir Timothy with a rival for Dorcas' affections, and the newcomer's radical political views raises concern that he might corrupt young minds. Stephen Campbell-Moore stars.
