SYNOPSIS

It's summer 1929 and Georgina has fallen in love with one of her new admirers. His social position and family background nevertheless make their future happiness uncertain, as Georgina's notoriety is not lost on her suitor's parents. Downstairs, meanwhile, Ruby and Mrs Bridges have a great row, leading to the hiring of a new maid.
