SYNOPSIS

An innovative and authoritative perspective on history, investigating the royal dynasties that collapsed spectacularly. Presented by film maker and historian David Adams (Alexander's Lost World). Dramatic stories of great kings and emperors such as Charlemagne, Shah Jahan and Attila the Hun - and their less-than great families. Explores and reveals little known global histories, travelling to France, the UK, Georgia, Uzbekistan, China and India. Uses unique graphic and filming techniques new to history documentary, including a virtual museum.
