Menu: Darkly comedy about serving food with Anya Taylor-Joy and Ralph Fiennes

A couple (Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult) travels to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef (Ralph Fiennes) has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises.
Anya Taylor-Joy stars alongside Ralph Fiennes and Nicholas Hoult in The Menu, a film from director Mark Mylod (“Succession”) that has been described as being darkly comedic.
Searchlight Pictures will release The Menu in theaters on November 18, 2022, and today brings the official teaser trailer that gives us our first look. The film, penned by Will Tracy and Seth Reiss, “is a darkly comedic psychological thriller set in the world of eccentric culinary culture, centering on a young couple who visit an exclusive restaurant on a remote island where an acclaimed chef has prepared a lavish tasting menu. Taylor-Joy will play one half of the couple. Fiennes is playing the chef.”
The cast also includes Hong Chau, Janet McTeer, Judith Light, Reed Birney, Paul Adelstein, Aimee Carrero, Arturo Castro, Mark St. Cyr, Rob Yang, and John Leguizamo. Adam McKay (The Big Short) is producing The Menu for Searchlight.
