SADRžAJ
An animated adaptation of Flann O'Brien's acclaimed 1941 novel in Irish. It is a biting satire on the highly popular Gaeltacht autobiographies of the time. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest Irish-language novels of the 20th century. It is the life story of a young Gael held in Sligo Jail as he reflects on the dire poverty of his childhood and recalls the glamour of the city-dwellers who came to learn Irish and lecture the natives about how lucky they were. This animated adaptation is the first time that the book has been brought to screen.
