Due South follows the exploits of Constable Benton Fraser and his wise-cracking police detective partner, Ray Vecchio. The two find themselves unwillingly brought together in Chicago following a mysterious murder which affects both of their lives, and they realise they must overcome their huge differences to find a middle ground. Fraser, a polite Canadian Mountie, patrols the streets of Chicago with hisdeaf, lip reading wolf, Diefenbaker, and provides humour and wit in this comedy adventure.
