As a female medic in the British Army, Georgie Lane's (Michelle Keegan) life is full of battles - both physical and personal. 'Our Girl' follows the extraordinary adventures of her and the tightknit unit of soldiers in 2- Section as they fight for survival on the most dangerous missions of their lives. Georgie and the 2-Section unit are dispatched on a tour in Nigeria to help train local forces in the fight against Boko Haram. They soon find themselves in the middle of a terrorist situation however when Boko Haram take some of 2-section hostage. This action-packed drama highlights the highs and lows of military life, from the hilarious banter between squaddies to the harsh realities of living on the frontline. It's an inspiring story where heroics and hard work meet constant threats, and where the gang face the ultimate personal battle: head versus heart.
