Glamour model Kerry vacuums the living-room rug five times a day to avoid `bum patches' where the children have been sitting. She helps fellow Essex single mum Vikki, whose toilet hasn't been cleaned in four years. Tina from Slough cannot abide trinkets and mess and the living room shelf has lain empty for three years so it doesn't look untidy. She heads to Ipswich, where Mike is surrounded by clutter and gadgets and uses his bathroom as an office.
