As plans for the royal wedding are progressed, Ariadne sets out on a journey to Telemon's homeland of Aegina. Jason fears for his queen's safety, and with the kingdom still beset by Colcheans, he is not the only one. However, Ariadne continues regardless, determined to do what is best for her people - only for the royal cavalcade to face enemies at every turn.
