Susan goes to the police to confess everything, and is charged with attempted murder. Mark is hurt by the fact that Elly kept the matter secret from him, but Chloe steps in, sympathising with Elly's predicament. After seeing Toadie working tirelessly as Susan's lawyer, Alice is more convinced than ever that she is doing the right thing.
