Another obnoxious excuse for certified Canadian content or CAN-CON. Would any of this crap exist without the bloated CMF Canada Media Fund? Oh yes and endless tax breaks both provincial and federally funded. Yes I am Canadian. Therefore government forces us all to pay cable TV bills three times a logical amount so we can CMF pay for all our mundane B grade television and movies. Bell Media/CTV CBC and whatever Global morphed into are a getting fat off this penchant for CAN-CON. At least be honest and say we pay for much of it in Cable TV.
