OBSAH
Irene Dunne, having disappeared seven years earlier in a shipwreck, shows up alive and well just after her husband, Cary Grant, has remarried (to Gail Patrick). With a screenplay (by Sam and Bella Spewack) that burns brightly for most of the way and a scintillating cast, this hit romantic comedy remains a delight. Producer Leo McCarey had directed the 1937 Dunne/Grant smash hit The Awful Truth and was due to direct this one, but had to let Garson Kanin take over after being involved in a serious car crash. It was remade in 1963 as Move Over, Darling, with Doris Day and James Garner.
