POVZETEK

Montserrat in Jose Luis resno razmišljata o pobegu. Montserrat je za to pripravljena celo prodati svoje zemljišče. Njun sestanek budno opazuje jezni Dimitrio, ki se kasneje norčuje iz svoje sestre, češ da je zaljubljena v navadnega mornariškega desetarja. Toda Monserrat je vseeno za denar in status. Graciela in Dimitrio obiščeta Bruna zaradi Dimitriovega dolga, Montserrat pa sklene kupčijo z Alejandrom.
