A patient suffering from systemic lupus begins working in a supermarket after being deemed fit to do so by Dr Evans, but when Frankie realises the woman's condition is drastically deteriorating, she urges the doctor to reconsider her decision. Meanwhile, Karen abandons her professionalism and agrees to go out for a drink with the attractive student she was called out to visit - but his unannounced exit leaves her more than a little confused. Ian is relieved by the news he receives from Paula and a vicious dog attack allows him and Andy to compete for Frankie's heart. Eve Myles, Derek Riddell and Jemma Redgrave star. Last in the series.
