POVZETEK

Defne ugotovi, da se v kovčkih nahajajo Gumusine stvari. Seref in Mehmet Fikri končno dojameta, da sta se Mehmet in Gumus na skrivaj pobotala, toda zato sta kvečjemu še bolj jezna na oba. Mehmet in Gumus se medtem vračata v Carigrad. Ne vesta, kaj vse se je v tem času dogajalo doma, Mehmet pa komaj čaka, da domačim pove veselo novico.
