POVZETEK

Matthew je odločen, da se bo brez pomoči sprehodil do oltarja in se poročil z Lavinio. Sybil se namerava z Bransonom preseliti na Irsko, novica pa preseneti vse po vrsti. Robert skuša Bransona podkupiti, toda trmasti Irec se ne da. Španska gripa, ki razsaja povsod po svetu, pride tudi v Downton. Carson, Lavinia in Cora kažejo resne simptome gripe, pa tudi drugi služabniki obležijo v postelji.
