Mehmet pripravlja Gumus presenečenje ob opravljenem vozniškem izpitu. Gumus, ki tega ne ve, pride domov z novim avtomobilom in v Enginovem spremstvu. Moževa gesta jo popolnoma šokira. Žalostna je, ker se je njen mož zaman trudil, da bi jo prijetno presenetil. Tudi Mehmet je čisto povožen. Odloči se, da bo materi predstavil njenega vnuka.
