The troubled childhood of acclaimed Brazilian writer Roberto Carlos Ramos is documented in Luiz Villaça's compelling feature. The youngest of ten brothers, Roberto shows a special talent to tell stories as a child. But when his mother puts him in a newly opened government institution at age six, little by little, he loses hope, until at age thirteen, after hundreds of escapes, he's considered 'irrecoverable'.
