In a cruise restaurant, a country girl watches a happy-looking couple with admiration. The young and beautiful wife is proud of her ten years older husband, a successful professor with a refined demeanor. However, her brief encounter with a sincere and open young man who confesses his love for her in a strange way causes the heroine to lose her confidence.
