Completely distraught, young Lisa shows up at the police station and reports a murder at the annual so called "Geistertanz" in Bregenz. She is able to describe the victim in detail. However, the parade hasn't even taken place yet, and a dead man with stab wounds hasn't been reported to the police either. Oberländer thinks Lisa's account is a fantasy, but Zeiler won't let go of the story. Only a few hours later the man from Lisa's vision is dead - stabbed to death, just the way she described it.
