However, the veteran clerk realises what is happening, and asks his opposite number at another set of chambers to lure the womanising barrister away with the promise of a better job. Meanwhile, Martha defends an Asian policewoman accused of racism, but she is distracted by hearing that former client Mark Draper has been arrested for murder.
