SEASON: 1

EPISODE: 4 - Intimate Relations

SYNOPSIS

David Attenborough turns his attention to the network of partnerships that invertebrates have developed with one another and with plants. He reveals how the fairy wasp, the world's smallest insect, flies underwater to inject its eggs into those of the water beetle. Footage also shows how the caterpillar of the blue butterfly smuggles its way into an ants' nest by mimicking the smell of their young. Last in the series.
