SYNOPSIS
Axioucha is secretly in love with Piotr. She lives with her aunt Raissa, who wants her to marry Alexei, a penniless young aristocrat. Gradually, Raissa falls for Alexei herself. She sells part of her forest to Piotr's father to be able to have a dowry for her niece...
