Rudolph Moshammer is the most prominent fashion designer in Munich in the 1980s. But that is no longer enough for his silent partners and financiers. They want the store on Maximilianstrasse to win over the high and money nobility, the richest of the rich, as customers. That is why Rudolph Moshammer is looking for a young, seductive woman to sell, to the horror of his mother Else. At first glance he finds Evi, a young podiatrist from Augsburg, who is not particularly noticeable and clumsy. Rudolph explains that he will make an exciting woman out of her. An event. And indeed: with Evi's help, Moshammer wins the hearts and purses of the truly rich - if it weren't for his mother, who forges intrigues in the background. A fictional story that is about beauty, money and glamor, but also about the friendship of two outsiders in bright, glamorous Munich in 1983.
