This is another very good episode in the Montalbano series. A complicated tale that begins with the murder of a thirty-something Lothario, and ends up as a tale of corruption involving a surgeon (Giovannı Moschella) and an ageing Mafia boss (Francesco Sineri).

EPISODIO: 2. TEMPORADA: 14.

This episode sees a Swedish film company producing an historical drama in Vigata. Upset is caused when Mimi is accused of having a romantic boat ride with the leading lady, who is also the director's girlfriend. He protests his innocence. This isn't Mimi's only problem; his son has been beaten up at school after trying to protect another boy from bullies... a situation which escalates in an unexpected way.

EPISODIO: 1. TEMPORADA: 14.

This episode opens with a night watchman patrolling villas on the outskirts of Vigata; giving chase to Pasquale Cirrinciò, the son on Montalbano's housekeeper, but he gets away. The next night Pasquale is caught, as he exits the grounds of one villa, but there is no evidence that he broke into the property. Montalbano has him placed in the cells as he is sure he was up to something.
