This exciting documentary series will reveal Turkey's gems, a country with plentiful ancient architecture, rich in history, culture, food and natural wonder but also unique experiences that our host will experience through his own personal point of view. From Kars to Istanbul, a Nat Geo Explorer will travel from East to West to vividly portray an ancient land and a modern nation. He will delve into Turkey to show his findings to the world, uncovering the country’s secrets by meeting local “ambassadors” who will unveil its very rich past, but also its thrilling recent history. The 3 episodes Turkey’s Hidden Gems series is born as a thrilling trip, including episodes ranging from archaeology to gastronomy, from historic heritage to amazing experiences, from incredible landscapes to music, making the series a varied and rich watching experience for the viewer. One of the episodes will be focused on Istanbul and the other two will travel through Anatolia and Aegean uncovering some of its most secret sites.
