INHALT
A juvenile audience will be enchanted by this animated tribute to the diminutive sidekick from Winnie the Pooh - and some adults could find enough here to go along with them. Tiny Piglet (voiced by John Fiedler) is feeling very low because he's far too near the ground - it's an unease most children can sympathise with - so he sets off into the woods, wondering how he can gain height to be able to help his friends. Meanwhile, the other familiar characters look into his diary to see if it can give any clues as to his whereabouts. Director Francis Glebas and writer Brian Hohlfeld have created a well-crafted fable, while Carly Simon's songs boost the film's charm and its moments of poignancy.
