Four cooks from Taunton, Somerset, battle to win the £1,000 prize in the culinary contest. Africa-inspired amateur chef Dave Hallam, air hostess Kaaren Kitching, Czech-food lover Louise Naum and estate agent Matt Potter take it in turns to impress one another in a series of dinner parties, with one contestant's cockiness threatening to harm his chances of walking away with the money.
