Antiques Roadshow's Paul Atterbury recalls the heyday of the great ocean liners, travelling round Britain to reveal a story of design, politics and tragedy as he finds out how these great ships captured the public's imagination. Along the way he uncovers a cinema in Scotland built from the interiors of the SS Homeric, and visits a house in Poole, Dorset, where cabins from the Mauretania have been preserved.
