Art Burke is sent to Tadoule Lake with fellow new driver Todd Dewey, who is showered with acid when his battery explodes, while a driver from Polar Industries defects to VP and Hugh Rowland persuades him to block his former employer's front gate with his truck. Meanwhile, fire breaks out in the cabin of Alex Debogorski's rig, and Lisa Kelly takes on a challenging one-day round trip.
