James White is just one in many associate pastors at a mega church under the tutelage of televangelist Johnny Kingman. Until the day the opportunity to become of a church in Atlanta and jumps at the chance to pastor his own church. At first his family, and the congregation, aren't entirely pleased with the appointment of James but face a threat of a corrupt banker to close down the church.
