This is the story of the film “The Whale” never directed by Rossellini. In 1971, a large whale stranded on the beach inspiredRoberto Rossellini to write a scenario. Mixing up interviews, photographs and film footages, the documentary pays a tribute to one of the greatest masters of Italian cinema.
