Film snimljen prema istinitim događajima temu nasilja u obitelji: o dječaku kojega zlostavlja stariji brat. Anthony (Corin Nemec) uredan je i uzoran tinejdžer koji živi s majkom (Michele Lee) u američkoj provinciji. Otac mu je umro, a stariji brat Johnny (Rick Schroeder), delinkvent, živi u gradu. No, kad upadne u nevolje s policijom, želi se vratiti kući. Anthony se tome žestoko protivi, znajući da ga čeka bratovo nasilništvo koje je trpio od ranog djetinjstva. No, majka pristaje da Johnny dođe i za Anthonyja počinju teški dani...

Anthony Cortino lives with his mother in a quiet suburb. His father is dead, and his violent criminal brother is a long way off, in the city, and if Anthony has his way, thats where he will stay. However, Johnny runs into trouble with the police in the city, and when he asks to come home, his mother agrees, despite Anthonys objections. A reign of terror begins for Anthony then, for as long as Johnny is around, Anthony is never safe, and never has been.
